FALL ROUND-UP CHILDREN’S PARADE

Join in the Fun...........

Again this year the North St Paul Fire Department is sponsoring the Children's Parade on Saturday, September 20. Registration for the parade will take place at 1:30 pm in front of Northern Frames and Gallery, located at 2583 East Seventh Avenue. Parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. and go west to Margaret Street. Once at Margaret Street, the children will be lead to the Fire Station at 2400 Margaret Street. This is where parents may pick up their children, or if they would like, any child that is in the Children's parade can ride on a fire engine in the Grande Parade which will begin at 3:00 pm.

This year's theme will be "Our Favorite Storybook Characters on Parade ".

There will be trophies awarded in the following categories: Best Representation of the Theme, Best Creativity, and Most Original. So get your imaginations in gear.

To add to the 'fun', each child will receive a "goodie bag" for their participation.

After the parade is over, any child who was entered into the Children's Parade can also ride on one of the fire engines in the Grande Parade, if they wish to. The fire engines will bring the children back to the fire station after the Grande Parade, and parents can pick them up at the fire station as soon as the fire engines return from the parade.
