The Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in one of the longest standing traditions of Fall Round Up. It has been around for twenty-eight years, and is the kick off for Fall Round Up. This year the breakfast will once again be on Friday morning, September 21.

Every year before the vendors sell their first hot dog and before the Grande Parade makes it's way down Seventh Avenue, the Mayor calls together members of the community to break bread at this ecumenical gathering. There is always an inspirational guest speaker. The breakfast is a gathering of members of the community, business owners, employees, citizens and local elected officials, who come together to celebrate life and bringing the community together.

The breakfast will be held on Friday, September 21 at K & J Catering, located at 2546 East Seventh Avenue. Seating is at 6:45 a.m., and breakfast is at 7:00 a.m. so that people can attend and not be late for work.
