SECOND ANNUAL OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2007 A COMMUNITY CELEBRATION WITH SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE! Old Fashioned Christmas is an event set up by the North St. Paul Area Merchants Initiative to bring the community together through fun and caring. This is an event for the community to give back to the community. Please bring a non-perishable item for the North Saint Paul Food Shelf or a new or gently used toy for the North Saint Paul Toy Shelf Donations will be accepted at the Hay Ride, and at the Businesses hosting crafts. Food Shelf and Toy Shelf donations are not required for participation in the day's activities, but any and all donations made will be greatly appreciated.

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Santa's Brunch hosted by Santa at K & J Catering 2546 East Seventh Avenue Drawings for door prizes - Must be present to win French Toast, Sausage, Eggs and Beverage $7.00 for adults $5.00 for children under 12

MERCHANT'S INITIATIVE MEETING INFORMATION The Merchant's Initiative meets on a monthly basis on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings start at 6:00 pm. These meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and participate. The group is currently working on putting together marketing ideas to be used during the reconstruction of Highway 36. Kent Barnard, MnDOT Metro District Communications Specialist will be working with the city and the merchants on these goals. There will be no meeting in December. Next meeting will be Wednesday, January 9. Merry Christmas!
